Why a Gala Fundraiser?

From the first year Calgary Classical Academy started in the fall of 2022 at Bridgeland Campus, a Gala has been the signature event of the Fundraising Society, an effort to bring together parents from all across the city who came together with a vision of a different education for their children.

In the Spring of 2023, the Gala was both a celebration of our new community as well as a fun way to bring in some much needed cash. A new school needs a lot of help!

As the popularity of Calgary Classical Academy soared, expanding into two campuses, funds continued to be needed (and will always be) and building relationships between the parents was still a part of the vision for our Fundraising Society.

With these goals in mind: creating an opportunity for parents to get to know one another and raising funds that enhance the education of our students, the CCA Currie Campus Fundraising Society continues to create an event that celebrates those who have chosen to embark with our families on the educational and character forming adventure CCA offers us.

How can I help make this Gala a success?

Be bold!

Come and join us for an evening of fun and camaraderie. The whole community attends with parents, teachers, and even upper administration and board members.

Reach out to your own communities, those who love your children and support your family. Invite them to join you at the Gala, get a 50/50 ticket, or send in a donation of cash and/or goods and services that can be auctioned off. All proceeds go directly to this year’s Gala Campaign which targets physical health.

Let the committee know you’re interested in volunteering and sign up when the assignments are posted. It’s a great way to get to know other parents and to support other volunteers.
